Spaceship Earth Lounge Opens Late Spring 2025
A lounge in the Spaceship Earth building opens in the late spring. This Epcot venue overlooks the park the direction of World Showcase and has a great firework view. If you’ve been to a special event like a wedding at Epcot, you may have visited this space before. It’s been rentable until now when it becomes a space for all guests to enjoy.
Disney Starlight Dream the Night Away Night Parade Opens Summer 2025
After many years of not having one, Magic Kingdom will finally have a nighttime parade once again. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will roll down Main Street starting in the summer of 2025. This parade is hosted by the magic of the Blue Fairy and features characters like Elsa and Moana. Learn more about the Disney Starlight parade.
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After Show Opens Summer 2025
The Disney Villains show at Hollywood Studios takes the place of the Lightning McQueen experience across from Tower of Terror. Expect to see favorites like Captain Hook and Cruella in this live stage show.
Little Mermaid Show at Hollywood Studios Opens Summer 2025
The classic Voyage of the Little Mermaid show went away when Disney closed in 2020. The theater will have a new live, musical show starting in the summer of 2025. The name is now The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. The show features returning favorites “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World” and two added numbers “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”
Test Track Reimagined Opens Late Summer 2025
Test Track will reopen in the summer of 2025 after a renovation. This attraction has been around for a long time and this is the third version of it. It’s now presented by General Motors again. Much of the park has been renovated recently so this feels like the last of the Epcot renovations and construction in 2025.
Pirates Tavern at Magic Kingdom Opens Late 2025
You can cheers to sailing the seven seas at the new pirate lounge coming to Magic Kingdom in 2025. This is located next to the attraction in Adventureland.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Opens Winter 2025
You can also file this one under what’s closing at Disney World in 2025. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will replace It’s Tough to be a Bug in the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

New Disney World Rides and Lands After 2025
There are just a few new and updated rides and offerings at Disney World in 2025. However, some new lands and attractions will debut in the following years.
- The tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom with Encanto and Indiana Jones opens in 2027.
- The Monsters Inc. Land opens years away at Hollywood Studios replacing the Muppets area.
- A Disney Villains land is coming to Magic Kingdom at a later date.
- A Cars land will go where the Rivers of America currently is at Magic Kingdom.
