There are four parks at Disney World but only two parks offer nightly firework shows. All firework cruises are near Magic Kingdom or Epcot.
How many people can go on a firework cruise at Disney?
You can book a private fireworks cruise for you and up to 9 guests. Each boat seats up to 10 people.
In the past there was a larger capacity, luxury vessel at the Grand Floridian but it is no longer offered.
How do you book a Disney firework cruise?
You can make a reservation up to 60 days before your visit. Disney firework cruise reservations are made online, in the My Disney Experience app or by phone. You can make a reservation up through noon the day before. After that, booking may be done at the location, like the Grand Floridian marina, if there is still availability.
The Disney website says these are the current departure locations but you should check with your resort if you have a marina and are near Magic Kingdom:

What are the firework shows at Disney World?
Every night of the week, Happily Ever After is at Magic Kingdom and Luminous The Symphony of Us is at Epcot. There are very rare occasions where there isn’t a firework show. Around Halloween and Christmas, Magic Kingdom only has firework shows at special events on select dates.
Are there fireworks cruises for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
Yes, you can book a special event firework cruise. Both of the holiday events at Magic Kingdom have unique firework shows. Perimeter fireworks look even better from the Seven Seas Lagoon area. You can enjoy Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks or Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular from a firework cruise. These events are only held on certain dates throughout the season. During Christmas week, the Christmas fireworks happen each night. Check the schedule to plan for the firework show you’d like to see from the water.
How much is a Disney firework cruise? How much are Disney World firework cruises?
Like many things at Disney, the cost of a fireworks cruise varies by date. The price range in 2025 starts at $449 plus tax.
A higher priced Magic Kingdom firework cruise is shown below at $499 plus $32.44 in tax bringing the total to $531.22.

Is there an annual pass discount on fireworks cruises?
Disney may offer an annual pass discount on firework cruises. For those with a Disney annual pass, the price may start 10% off at $404.10 depending on the cruise. Upon researching, Epcot cruises came back at this price with the annual pass discount noted but showed no availability. Magic Kingdom cruises came back at full price but did have some available to book. Make sure you are logged in if booking online to see what discounts may be available.

Does a cast member drive a fireworks cruise for you?
Yes, each cruise is accompanied by a captain. It’s different than renting a pontoon boat during the day. The captain may also give you a tour around the Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake or Crescent Lake depending on where you part from. You are not able to rent your own boat to drive yourself during the fireworks.
Does the firework cruise at Disney come with food and drinks?
Your Disney firework cruise includes assorted snacks and soft drinks. These are packaged goods. In the past you were able to add on additional food items like cakes. You can always ask if this is an option when you book if you’re celebrating something.
What is the fireworks cruise cancellation policy?
Disney’s official cancellation policy: “There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Full price will be charged/forfeited if the Guest cancels within one day or fails to show up for the reservation.”
Most firework cruises will still happen if it’s cold out. If there is lightning or dangerous inclement weather in the forecast, no water crafts will be able to sail.
Is the Ferrytale Wishes dessert cruise still happening?
In addition to private Disney fireworks cruises for you and your party, there may also be opportunities to purchase a ticket onto a larger vessel. Everyone who has been to Magic Kingdom knows the ferry boats are one of the options for getting to the park. You may be able to watch the fireworks and enjoy treats on one of these for a Fairytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. These did return after Disney closed but they aren’t always offered.
