The Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby in the Jambo House building is always breathtaking with its dark and shiny interiors and stunning floor to ceiling windows. At Christmas time, the splendor of the multi-story tree enchants the atmosphere and welcomes resort and DVC guests alike. Remember to look for hidden Mickeys in between the oversized, print ribbons, brightly colored bows and woven wonders.

Year round there is a cozy and beautiful tile fireplace in the lobby that invites guests to sit and rest. During the holidays spending a few minutes here with the ambience of the decorated lobby is a must. As for the background music, around the resort you might hear traditional Christmas songs played in an African style.

The Zawadi Marketplace store in the lobby has some neat and clever decor. There are small Christmas trees on table displays in earthy tones with shiny embellishments. On the garlands that wrap some of the store’s structure you’ll find tiny safari hat ornaments made from natural materials. Possibly one of the cutest Disney decorations to ever exist!

Kidani Village Holiday Decor 2021
Kidani Village is a Disney Vacation Club building at Animal Kingdom Lodge with the fabulous Sanaa restaurant and its own savanna with animals. It’s easy to spot beautiful creatures like an ostrich, giraffe or zebra during your stay here. The Kidani Village lobby has a similar intricately designed interior but on a smaller scale. For the holidays, Kidani Village has its own gorgeous Christmas tree. It’s decorated in warm harvest shades with frosted bulbs, ribbons with designs on them and some not so hidden Mickeys too. The little circular houses on this tree have bright and beautiful beaded Mickey designs on the front.

Check the Johari Treasures store in the Kidani Village lobby for fun Disney Vacation Club member merchandise finds. On my visit there were Disney Vacation Club member Christmas sweaters and ‘Welcome Home for the Holidays’ tumblers.
