Disney’s BoardWalk is a lively place to be with entertainment, dining and recreation opportunities. You might catch a juggling act outside under the string lights at night. You can spend time at Jellyrolls to hear the dueling piano players. Take a Surrey bike ride with the family for breezy fun around the water. When it’s time to eat, you’ve got options. You can have your pick from grab and go spots like the BoardWalk Deli to delightful sit down dining experiences like Trattoria al Forno. When it comes to the end of the night, everyone looks forward to those colorful sparkles in the sky. So can you see fireworks from Disney BoardWalk? There are definitely firework views at this resort and dining and entertainment complex!
The name of the resort hotel is Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The Disney Vacation Club property at this resort is called Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. Then there’s an actual boardwalk area you can visit to eat and shop. All of this is located near Epcot’s International Gateway Disney Skyliner station.
Can You See Fireworks From Disney BoardWalk Inn Resort?
It is possible to see fireworks from a few different places around Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. One of the best viewing spots will be on the bridge closest to Epcot that connects Disney’s BoardWalk to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club resorts. This bridge provides a fantastic view of the higher pyrotechnics in Epcot’s firework shows. Another great place to watch fireworks from Disney’s BoardWalk is near Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall. Facing Epcot, you can watch the nightly fireworks over the water here and it’s quite a visual treat. The current show is Luminous The Symphony of Us.
Unlike Disneyland Resort, which is located near many other public buildings and private residences, nothing really prohibits Walt Disney World Resort fireworks shows from happening. You can count on seeing fireworks every night of your trip if you wish to!
Does Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Have Firework View Rooms?
There are technically no firework view or theme park view rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas. That doesn’t mean you won’t get see surprise fireworks from Disney BoardWalk rooms. Disney is very fair on what they consider a firework view room. A room won’t be noted as such unless it has an excellent firework view. This means that you can sometimes see fireworks, theme parks and nighttime spectaculars from your room. Even when you weren’t expecting to. As always, whether you can see fireworks from your room or not depends a great deal on where your room is located at the resort and which direction its facing.
Having a balcony can also help as it allows you a wider range of vision when you can step outside and peek around. If you happen to be in a room that’s higher up and facing the direction of Epcot, it’s likely you’ll get some kind of firework view. This is especially true if your room is near Jellyrolls. The view of Epcot fireworks pictured here is from the BoardWalk, standing in front of the mint building next to Jellyrolls that says Crest O’ The Wave.
While the best firework views from this resort are of Epcot nighttime spectaculars, you may also see some pyro coming from the other direction. Disney’s Hollywood Studios may not have a dedicated firework show but some of the nighttime spectaculars at the park feature sporadic fireworks. If you happen to see the sky lighting up and it’s not coming from the Epcot direction, it could be the Fantasmic! finale or the end of the projection shows on the theater on Hollywood Boulevard.
Can you see Magic Kingdom fireworks from BoardWalk?
Lastly, it may be possible to see fireworks way far away over at Magic Kingdom. You will only see the biggest, highest fireworks. If you see a nighttime show happening in the distance over Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, those are Magic Kingdom fireworks. The best example of what you might see of Happily Ever After is the Hercules part and the finale. This is when the most impressive, expansive fireworks happen. If you’re in a higher up room with a balcony or your view faces that direction, you should be able to have a nice view of some Magic Kingdom fireworks from BoardWalk. Just remember that this resort is far from that park so it will be off in the distance, you won’t hear the music played at the resort and it’s more of a subtle viewing experience. Especially compared to Epcot which is so close.
