What is Candlelight processional at Disney world?
This Christmas show is a long running tradition at Disney parks. Candlelight Processional began at Disneyland in California. A celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas while a Cast Member choir, youth choir and The Voices of Liberty sing traditional songs. This show is a beautiful spectacle with a 50 piece orchestra, bright robes and complimentary lights. The candlelight processional is a heartfelt, religious telling of the birth of Jesus.
What time is Candlelight Processional?
Nightly show times include 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Prepare to arrive early and wait in line for a seat unless you purchase a Candlelight Processional dining package.
Do you have to buy a ticket to see the candlelight processional at Epcot?
You do not need a separate ticket to see Epcot’s candlelight processional. There may be some confusion on this because there are reserved seats for those who purchase a dining package. If you care about sitting somewhere specific, like up close, you may want to consider the dining package. When you enjoy the show without the reserved seating that comes with the dining package, you’ll be ushered into whatever sections are available. If it’s very busy, you may need to continue waiting in line for the next show.
