December Use Year? Reminder to Bank Points By July 31st!

We’re back to check in with a reminder about your DVC use year and banking deadlines. It’s July, summer is in full swing, and there’s a Disney Vacation Club banking deadline approaching. The hottest days of the year are here but Disney has already made announcements for the coolest season of them all. December will be here before you know it and if you’re taking a Disney trip during the holiday season, you know it’s already time to plan it. Just in case you’ve been enjoying the season of sunshine and lost track of time, DVC Resale Experts want to make sure you don’t lose your points! If you don’t plan to use them to book, remember to bank your DVC points.

If you have December use year, this is a reminder that your deadline to bank points is July 31st.

Disney Vacation Club Banking Deadlines

The use year is a part of every Disney Vacation Club contract. It’s the month when your new points are assigned each year. A Disney Vacation Club Member’s use year also identifies the deadline to use points by, or bank them by, so they aren’t lost. You don’t have to be within a certain use year to book with your DVC points. The eleven month out home resort booking advantage allows you to reserve stays at your resort before others. If you are eligible to book at other resorts, you can do that seven months out. When it comes to banking, borrowing and use year, resale works the same as if bought direct.

Here is a complete list of all of the DVC use years and the corresponding banking deadlines.
