You don’t have to be staying at a Disney resort to dine there or enjoy the bar and lounge options. This really opens up an abundance of venues to stack in your trip itinerary. The Disney transportation makes it easy to get around and explore different places on property. With this in mind, consider a Disney Skyliner bar crawl for your magical vacation needs. These can be super fun when you want to get many different experiences, and tastes, in on one trip. In our information on Disney Skyliner bars and lounges, we’re covering food, themes, menus and have a range of drinks including rum, whiskey, frozen drinks and non-alcoholic options to show.
A Guide to Enjoying a Disney Skyliner Bar Crawl
Bars and Lounges on the Disney Skyliner
Let’s first go over the resorts on the Disney Skyliner in order.
This gives us quite a few places to consider for a Disney Skyliner bar crawl.
- Starting at the opposite end of Epcot we have a shared Skyliner station between Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
- That line takes you to the main Disney Skyliner hub at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. There is a fork in the road here.
- You can either take one line to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or take the other line that goes to Disney’s Riviera Resort, then Epcot.
- At the Epcot stop, there are two Disney Vacation Club resorts within walking distance: Disney’s BoardWalk Villas and Disney’s Beach Club Villas.

What bar is at Disney’s Pop Century resort? Petals Pool Bar
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is the vibrant and colorful, decade inspired value resort. You can expect inspiration from noteworthy pop culture.
Petals Pool Bar is located behind the resort’s lobby. It is not within the fenced off boundaries of the pool reserved for guests. I can’t say that I’d recommend going out of my way to make sure Petals is a stop on a Disney Skyliner bar crawl. It’s a small bar with pretty standard offerings. There are just a few seats and a few tables and chairs with umbrellas, all outdoors.
However if you’re staying at Pop Century, Petals is convenient and checks all the boxes. It has a small range of classic drinks you might want on a Florida vacation like tropical cocktails, frozen drinks, beer and sangria. The frozen, icy style drink machines are a fun novelty, especially in the summer. Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort also has super soft pretzels, the hot and salty kind, which can be great to pair with a sweet drink.
If you’re a completist and want to stop everywhere on the Disney Skyliner pub crawl, include Petals in your plan. If you’re going to pick and choose the most delicious or exciting options, you’ll probably want to read on.

What bar is at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort? The Drop Off Pool Bar
Art of Animation has a vividly themed Finding Nemo pool. The bar at Art of Animation is next to the main pool, behind the lobby, and fits within this theme.
At Art of Animation, The Drop Off Pool Bar is a small, very blue bar with an outdoor seating area. The menu is also themed to Finding Nemo with drinks like the Big Blue Ocean. A little menu theming like this goes along way. While the drop off is not particularly special, the surrounding theme does make it fun. If you haven’t been to Art of Animation resort, including The Drop Off on your Disney Skyliner bar crawl might be a fun way to visit. The frozen jack and Coke and frozen rum and Coke options are delight for a pirate on a hot day.

What bar is at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort? Banana Cabana Pool Bar and Grill
Banana Cabana is an outdoor bar and lounge perfect for those seeking coastal vacation vibes. This is a bit of a walk from the Skyliner station but it’s on the water, very cute and hosts a tropical atmosphere. Many pool bars at Walt Disney World Resort are within the fenced in area of the pool deck only designated for guests. Banana Cabana Pool Bar and Grill, and all of the others mentioned here, are not. It’s next to the pool but attached to the Sebastian’s Bistro restaurant. You may not see Banana Cabana listed on a map but if you just follow the signs to Old Port Royale and Sebastian’s Bistro you can’t miss it.

What bar is at Disney’s Riviera Resort? Topolino’s Terrace, Bar Riva, Le Petit Cafe
There are actually three options at Disney’s Rivera Resort for your Skyliner pub crawl needs. Disney’s Riviera Resort is the highlight of the Disney Skyliner bar crawl with the lounge at Topolino’s Terrace being the crown jewel.
Le Petit Cafe
In the lobby, what’s a coffee and pastry bar during the day offers wine at night. Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort is a cozy option for your Disney Skyliner bar crawl needs. Where you order is cute but just next door there is an amazing little room to sit in. This dark, library style setting has set ups inspired by Walt Disney’s travels behind glass.
Bar Riva
This open air, Mediterranean inspired bar and restaurant is a hidden gem at Riviera. Next to the pool, guests will find Bar Riva with a pretty interior, chic bar and various other seating styles.

Topolino’s Terrace
Lastly, firework views await at Topolino’s Terrace. Topolino’s Terrace is one of the more difficult restaurant reservations to get. For breakfast it’s a character meal. Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy dress in attire inspired by the arts. There is also a first come, first serve lounge at Topolino’s Terrace for dinner. This area has nice views of the resort. You can order from the full restaurant menu in the lounge. There are refreshing, chic mocktail options here as well. When you dine in the lounge, the bread service is brought to the table which is nice.
You can also see the tops of some of Epcot’s bigger fireworks from lounge seating. The firework show music is not played in the restaurant. You can step outside and hear it on the viewing terrace though. The view from here is not as great compared to places like California Grill overlooking Magic Kingdom. However, it’s always charming to see fireworks, even if they are off in the distance. This is one of the best places to watch fireworks from Riviera resort.

What bars are at Disney’s Beach Club Resort?
Beach Club is a favorite and for good reason. It has the best pool at Disney World and great dining options. There’s a cute little outdoor bar at the pool called Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill. This is a nice option if the weather is decent and you want to enjoy the views of Crescent Lake.
This resort is connected to Yacht Club so we have to mention those options as well.
Right inside the Disneys Yacht Club lobby there is a beautiful, dark and luxurious lounge called The Lounge at Ale and Compass. The atmosphere here is great if you want to get a little dressed up and sit somewhere pretty.
Crew’s Cup Lounge is a neat little bar and lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort as well.
It’s an interior bar and lounge with booth seating too.
What bars are at Disney’s BoardWalk?
This could become a Disney Skyliner/Friendship Boat crawl if you want. Crescent Lake is so easy to get around with walking and boating options. The Disney BoardWalk has the most options of all on this list.
Belle Vue Lounge is a darling spot at Disney with just enough theming. The classic decor and smooth setting makes this a great choice for your Disney Skyliner pub crawl. There are also seats on a balcony outdoors for those interested in people watching on the BoardWalk lawn.
Abracadabar provides a one of a kind Disney experience. It’s a magic themed bar with a dramatic interior. The drinks names play into the theme like Hoodunit’s Punch.
Jellyroll’s is a dueling piano bar on Disney’s BoardWalk and could be a fun place to end a Disney Skyliner bar crawl. It’s located at the Epcot end of the Skyliner route.
There are more bars and lounges accessible by Disney Skyliner.
This list could be more extensive depending on how technical you want to get. Epcot is on the Skyliner line but we won’t dive into the endless options at that park. A bit further down the path, or the next stop on the boat transportation in the area, the Swan and Dolphin hotels have even more options to choose from. Of course, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an option as well when it comes to Disney Skyliner stations and great food and drinks.
Disney Skyliner Bar Crawl FAQs
Everything you want to know about getting around Disney property using the gondola system the Disney Skyliner.
Is it free to ride the Disney Skyliner?
There is no cost to ride the Disney Skyliner. In order to ride, you just need to get in line at one of the four stations. You can usually only park at one of the resorts connected to it if you have a dining reservation. Starting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is probably the easiest way to access the Skyliner. If you park at Epcot, you can get to the Skyliner but you’d have to walk through the entire park to the back International Gateway entrance.
Is the Disney Skyliner reliable?
The Skyliner is actually very reliable. It will close for certain weather events. If it’s too windy the Skyliner can’t operate due to safety concerns. The Disney Skyliner also closes for lighting within a certain mile radius. This is standard for outdoor attractions and offerings at Walt Disney World Resort.
Is the Skyliner at Disney scary?
Those afraid of heights or uncomfortable with small spaces may not enjoy riding the Disney Skyliner. There is a breeze that comes through when you’re moving, even on the hottest of days. It doesn’t quite feel like air conditioning though. The ride goes by quickly, taking direct overhead routes, and makes resort to park travel very convenient. Because it moves continuously, even a long line for the Skyliner moves quickly and you’ll be on your way.
Do you need to make a reservation to visit Disney bars and lounges?
While many Disney restaurants fill to capacity with guests with advance dining reservations, the bars and lounges are first come, first serve. You do not need a reservation for a Disney Skyliner bar crawl. You usually can’t park at a Disney resort without a resort or dining reservation though so keep that in mind. All of these resorts are accessible by Disney transportation from the parks and Disney Springs.
