Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a cozy, quaint and quiet beachfront Disney Vacation Club resort right on the Atlantic Ocean. Vero Beach, Florida, located on the east coast, has a history rich with tales of the sea it sits next to. This resort is less than two hours from Walt Disney World Resort. Disney’s Vero Beach is one of the few places outside of the parks you can get specialty Disney and Mickey shaped treats! Wind & Waves Market is a market style quick service restaurant with food to go including baked goods, sandwiches, salads and burgers. Guests can get the famous and beloved Disney Parks treats Dole Whip and Mickey bars here. These are perfect to enjoy on a hot beach day. The signature Disney’s Vero Beach treat offered at this location is the Mickey Whoopie Pies.

Green Cabin Room

The Green Cabin Room offers adult beverages, light bites and house made and sweet treats. At this bar and lounge, indoor and outdoor venue you can find ‘nautical charm and dramatic ocean views.’ In the mornings guests can enjoy coffees and pastries. The Green Cabin Room also has adult beverage experiences later in the day. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort Poolside Dining

Wind & Waves Bar is a poolside bar and lounge. The bar is covered and open air. There is also outdoor lounge seating with umbrellas. There is a menu here with food offerings similar to what you can get at the market. The resort is small and easy to get around so any of the dining options mentioned should compliment your pool day nicely.

Character’s at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Wind & Waves Grill is a seafood restaurant at Disney’s Vero Beach that’s open for breakfast and dinner. This is the signature dining venue here but if you’re used to Disney Parks & Resorts prices you may be pleasantly surprised. For dinner there are items from land and sea, plant based offerings and rotating daily specials. For breakfast, Wind & Waves Grill has a signature eggs benedict dish and Mickey waffles.

You can easily walk here for more menu selections for breakfast and lunch. There are many sandwiches and wraps to choose from and an awesome selection of hot breakfast foods. For more local flavors, try the highly rated Ocean Grill restaurant. It’s about 15 minutes by car and is located right on the beach. Ocean Grill has an upscale menu with many seafood items but something for everyone.
