Disney is always cooking up something new, and as DVC members we get to experience Disney’s newest magic as soon as it comes out of the oven…(or freezer). When you book your DVC vacation, like most DVC members, you might have every hour of your park day planned out. Which is why we love Disney Springs! Disney Springs gives you the Disney Magic atmosphere the child in all of us is excited for, and time to slow down to make some memories… and take in some sugar. Here are a few Disney Springs treats you absolutely must try on your next DVC vacation. Imagination and sugar? Two of the main ingredients to being a kid.
Sprinkles
Cupcakes. Ice Cream. Cookies. Sprinkles. Need we say more? Cast members will turn your favorite cupcake into an ice cream sundae, loaded with sprinkles and a buffet of toppings of your choice. All desserts are prepared daily to assure you are getting the freshest dose of sugar to satisfy that sweet tooth. They have something the whole family will love, (they even sell Pupcakes for your furry friends at home). Sprinkles also offers a cupcake ATM, offering cupcakes 24/7, vending machine style.
Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew-Now Open!
These fresh made hand crafted donuts, and robust dark cold brew coffees are the perfect way to start or complete your Disney Springs day. This classic donut shop is reimagined with over a dozen different donut flavors, dessert milkshake and sundaes. Did we mention they also serve a “The Donut Burger”? Fresh hamburger patty grilled to perfection in-between a donut bun…it’s a must try for all DVC members.
Raglan Road Irish Pub
This classic Irish Pub has more than four Irish-dance shows that play daily. It is home Ger’s Bread N Butter Pudding, often overlooked from guest getting full on Fish N Chips. Think bread pudding… only better. Grab yourself one, (and an Irish coffee) and laugh and dance to the shows listed below:
Main Stage: Monday – Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday – Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Patio Stage: daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The Rhythms of Raglan: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday—and noon to 3:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday during The Rollicking Raglan Brunch
Live Music and Dance Shows: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Live Bands: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Chef Arts Homecoming Kitchen
Okay, this place has three desserts that the description alone will make you want to use your DVC points this week to get down there to try them. We recommend getting all three and sampling them buffet style. At DVC Resale Experts, we count DVC points, not calories.
Shine On Cake: An adult-only lemon poppyseed butter cake soaked with lemon-infused moonshine syrup and served with blueberry compote and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream
Hummingbird Cake: Chef Art’s famous pineapple-banana cake with cream cheese frosting, a seasonal fruit gastrique and scoop of vanilla bean ice cream
Chocolate Pecan Pie: A 100-year-old traditional Smith Family Farm recipe. Served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream
Amorette’s Patisserie
French style desserts, hand crafted to perfection. These desserts air on the lighter side with their french flare, yet creamy and smooth. Not to mention, they are simply adorable! We bet your Mickey Ears you’ll have a hard time choosing just one. Our favorite pick is the “49th and Broadway” AKA classic cheesecake. DVC lovers have said this is THE best cheesecake on all Disney Property. “The Strawberry Fields of O.C.” is hard to pass up with its lemon curd, strawberry mouse, and basil sugar.
One of the perks of being a DVC member, is that you know you and your family will have many DVC vacations to come, and these desserts are just another reason to look forward to you next vacation!
