Easter at Disney World

Easter at Disney World

There’s no doubt about it,  any day at a Disney park can feel like a holiday and finding the extraordinary in the ordinary is one of the things that has made Disney- Disney. Disney’s most popular park holidays are Christmas and Halloween: themed parades, limited editions shows and treats, and packed parks. But, what about Easter? Disney’s on it! Below are the confirmed Easter festivities that will be available at Disney Resorts and Parks for Easter 2022.

This year Easter falls on Sunday, April 17.

Grand Cottage Stand: The Grand Floridian

The Grand Cottage Stand located in the main lobby of The Grand Floridian Hotel turns its December Christmas Gingerbread Stand into a Spring Hop Pop Up goodies shop. This is the place to go to get your favorite Easter traditional treats including: chocolate bunnies, hot cross buns, carrot cake cupcakes, fudge and more! The stand is open now until April 18, and is open from 9:30-5pm. Get your Easter basket ready with your Disney vacation in mind.

Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt: Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

This is not your grandmother’s egg hunt, it’s loaded with Disney magic and a scavenger hunt twist. Cast members hide special Disney Character themed eggs around the International and Garden Festival for guests to embark on this one of a kind, Spring scavenger hunt. Guests can purchase a scavenger hunt map and stickers set at select store locations throughout the park ( Port of Entry, Creations Shop, and World Traveler to name a few.) The map will guide guests to the hidden eggs. Once the egg is spotted, place the corresponding sticker on the map. After you have completed the scavenger hunt, redeem your map for a tumbler of your choice of: Orange Bird, Spike the Bee, or Figment. Map and sticker sets are currently $9.99 plus tax, while supplies last.

Chocolate Displays

The phrase, “It looks too good to eat,” definitely applies to Disney’s Chocolate Easter Egg Collection Display. The gorgeous and thoughtfully crafted chocolate eggs are, of course, all Disney themed. There are eggs resembling Cinderella’s Stagecoach, Moana, Frozen, Baby Yoda and a 50th Anniversary egg, just to name a few. The displays can be found at various locations throughout the resorts! There are 27 eggs at The Grand Floridian this year.

Church Services At Disney World

Disney is honored that you and your family want to share your traditions and holidays with them, and want to make your holidays as memorable as possible. This means, not having to leave the property for Easter Church Service. In previous years, The Contemporary Resort would hold Sunday Easter Catholic and Protestant services, it has been confirmed that there will be church services this year, but no information on service time has been announced yet.

No matter how you celebrate Easter, Disney is determined to help keep your old traditions while helping you make new ones!
