Grand Californian DVC

Resort Overview

West Coast vibe, steps away from the excitement at Disney California Adventure Park.

Get to California dreamin’ at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. From striking stonework to sweeping cross beams, this grand Resort so evokes the glory of a California national park lounge that it’s hard to imagine you’re only a short stroll away from Mickey, Minnie, and the birthplace of the magic – the place where it all began.

The Resort features three pools: the relaxing Fountain Pool, the exciting Redwood Pool (named after its 90-foot, redwood-intertwined pool slide), and the enchanting Mariposa Pool, where you can splurge on a fully decked out private cabana.

Don’t miss the upscale dining at Napa Rose, where critically acclaimed Chef Andrew Sutton astounds Guests with his farm-fresh, inventive fare. Score a seat at the restaurant’s Chef’s Counter, and you can discuss the fine merits of farm-to-table dining with the Chef and his talented kitchen staff. Expert, in-house sommeliers are also more than happy to give their recommendations from a list of award-winning wines.

Inviting Craftsman-style design, shades of wood flow from the Great Hall lobby to the Resort’s well-appointed rooms, which feature rich oak furnishings, imaginative layouts, and delightful details, like artistic murals of Chip ‘n Dale mischievously playing in an orange tree.

FUN FACT: There’s a Guest entrance to Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District, located right on the hotel grounds!
A Golden State escape, inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement of the early 1900s, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa captures the elegance of a timeless era.
