Disney is so good at celebrating and decorating. Special holidays often bring about some of the busiest times at Disney destinations. The best Easter display at Walt Disney World Resort is at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. In the main lobby, guests can enjoy a delightful chocolate Easter egg display inspired by Disney films, attractions and more. There’s also a Grand Floridian Easter themed treat kiosk. You’ll find delicious sweets and spring themed treats to enjoy at it.

Grand Floridian Easter Display

For many years now, the Grand Floridian’s bright and nostalgic lobby is filled with fun for the spring season. Particularly around Easter, oversized, detailed chocolate eggs are decorated, designed and put on display. You may find eggs with your favorite characters on them but also rides and other theme park inspiration too. Below are some of the beauties you can see in 2024.

Grand Floridian Easter Eggs 2024 Dates

The Grand Floridian Easter dates are March 3 through April 1 in 2024. These are the official dates for the Grand Cottage and when you can find some of these treats at Gasparilla Island Grill as well. It’s possible that the Grand Cottage and some or all of the eggs could still be out after these dates as they are slowly taken down. You just won’t be able to buy treats from the Grand Cottage after April 1. Easter is Sunday March 31 in 2024.

Grand Floridian Easter Cottage

The Grand Cottage is back for its third year in a row with a selection of pastel, pretty delights to eat. This walk up, treat kiosk has a variety of sweets and has items that cater to some dietary preferences and allergies. There is a plant based, dairy free option, the Bunny Burrow Dirt Cup, which is $7 and pictured below.

The Grand Cottage debuted in 2022. Before that, some special, seasonal treats were also sold in the lobby but near the front desk.

FAQs Disney Grand Floridian Easter

Does Disney World have Easter Mass? Does the Contemporary have Easter services?

There used to be religious services at Walt Disney World Resort for Easter and Christmas. Guests could attend an early or later Catholic Mass in the Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The was also a Protestant service. Easter service at the Contemporary has not been offered in recent years. Instead, Disney has suggested churches nearby like St. Lukes United Methodist Church and Mary Queen of the Universe Basilica.

Is there a Disney Easter parade?

There is an Easter pre-parade at Magic Kingdom. This happens before the Festival of Fantasy parade. It is not televised and can only be seen from inside the park.

Is there a Grand Floridian Easter brunch?

Disney’s Grand Floridian Cafe restaurant offers a year round brunch menu. There is not a specific Grand Floridian Easter brunch. You’ll find the same menu offerings at breakfast and lunch, the brunch menu, every day of the week. There are some classic Grand Floridian Cafe brunch items like the Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole, Buttermilk-fried Chicken and Waffle and Mickey waffles. The Avocado Toast is plant based and a visually appealing hit with “Avocado, Fire-roasted Tomatoes, and Micro Greens on Multigrain Toast.” Grand Floridian Cafe brunch costs anywhere from around $11 to $29 per meal.

Disney does sometimes offer special menus for holidays. This is most common for Thanksgiving. Menus and special holiday meals and offerings are sometimes shared on the Disney Parks Blog but not far in advance usually. However, you can always count on the quick service options at resorts for treats inspired by the season. The Grand Cottage is an extra special offering at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and has many Easter chocolates and novelties.

Can you visit the Grand Floridian Easter display if you are not staying there?

Yes, anyone can visit the Grand Floridian during their time at Disney World. If you are staying at another Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can visit the Grand Floridian by catching a bus to it from any theme park or taking an Uber or Minnie Van. It really depends on where you’re staying. If you’re coming from the Contemporary you can take the monorail over. Most resort guests will find it easiest to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and hop on the monorail, take a resort boat or walk to the Grand Floridian from there.

The Grand Floridian Easter display is in the lobby and open for all to see. This walk through exhibit is scattered throughout the resort’s main lobby.

If you are driving your own vehicle, you will only be able to park at the Grand Floridian if you are an overnight guest of the resort or if you have a dining reservation. During the busiest of times, parking may not be available at the Grand. Instead, you may be asked to park at Magic Kingdom. From the Magic Kingdom parking lot guests can take the monorail over or walk to the Grand Floridian.
