Has my DVC contract gone up in value since I purchased it years ago? How much is my Disney timeshare worth? If you’re wondering how things are going on the resale DVC market, we’ve got all the answers.

Magical Values: How Much is Disney Timeshare Worth?

Get a Complimentary DVC Contract Valuation

First and foremost, the numbers shared in the table below for each home resort represent an average estimate of the per point price based on recent sales. Your contract’s specific details, like the Point Value and Home Resort, are ultimately what determine its worth.

You are welcome to contact DVC Resale Experts for a complimentary valuation of your contract in particular.

There are seventeen different Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Each contract has a designated home resort and each home resort has a different price per point. When you buy from Disney Vacation Club directly, prices are not negotiable and usually much higher than resale. However, it’s possible to sell DVC points and make your money back, and then some, if you’ve been a Member for a long time.

How Does DVC Resale Pricing Work?

There are a few different factors that determine the value of a Disney Vacation Club contract. Some resorts are more popular than others which can play a role in per point pricing. Basic value principles tell us things are worth what people are willing to pay for them. Then there are rare DVC resale market contracts which go by different rules than contracts we see all the time.

Important Note: Contract Size Changes the Per Point Price

The amount of points on the contract affects the price in more than one way. Of course contracts with more points will be worth more overall. However, it’s common to see contracts with a higher point value have a slightly lower cost per point while smaller contracts may cost a little more per point.

Keep that in mind when viewing the DVC timeshare per point worth below. The number shown may not represent your point value. Your per point price could be lower or higher than the average that is shared. The Experts will be happy to talk to you about your goals with selling DVC and help you price your contract accordingly.

Points Available Plays a Role in Your DVC Contract Value

Another value determining detail is the points available for use. Let’s say you have a 150 point contract and haven’t used this year or next year’s points. The listing price will go up because it provides additional opportunities for a buyer to book stays using the contract.

Selling DVC? It’s All (on the contract) or Nothing

Remember you must sell the contract in its entirety. You’re not able to sell just some of your points. It’s a package deal. When you sell a contract, the transfer is full and final. The buyer becomes the name on the contract and is then responsible for any fees associated with it like annual dues.

If you’re looking to sell DVC points to downsize to a different point value, change your home resort, or get a DVC contract with more points, DVC Resale Experts can absolutely help with all of that.
