Jellyrolls Closing at Disney BoardWalk and Relocating

Walt Disney World Resort has had an impressive array of various entertainment forms over the years. There’s everything from the over the top Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs to smaller, more personal experiences like DiVine, the roaming, vine lady at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has always offered a bit more than other resorts when it comes to dining and entertainment options. One of those long time favorites is going away as Jellyrolls dueling piano bar closes on Disney’s BoardWalk in early 2025. When is Jellyrolls dueling piano bar closing? Will the new location be at Disney World? What is replacing Jellyrolls at BoardWalk? Here’s everything that’s been shared so far.

We will update this as dates and other specifics are announced!

Jellyrolls is Closing on Disney’s BoardWalk

It’s the end of an era over at Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls has been on the Disney BoardWalk for almost three decades. The resort opened in 1996 in its convenient location behind Epcot. While the BoardWalk resort will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary in 2026, Jellyrolls will not be open in this location for that milestone.

The dueling piano bar announced on the Jellyrolls Instagram that the Disney location will close in the coming months. Here’s what was shared:

“After nearly thirty years on Disney’s Boardwalk, Jellyrolls is making a move! Come celebrate with us into the spring season and keep your eyes on our social media for exciting new updates!”

Where is Jellyrolls new location?

Based on the initial announcement, Jellyrolls dueling piano bar seems to be relocating, not closing, as it is “making a move.” The next location of this Orlando venue has not yet been announced. In another post, Jellyrolls shared this:

“To all of our loyal guests – we look forward to sharing exciting news and big announcements! Stay Tuned!”

Will Jellyrolls still be at Disney?

Not even that much has been shared by the venue. No new location has been announced yet and it’s not clear if Jellyrolls will stay at Walt Disney World or not. Surely many Disney fans who are loyal Jellyrolls visitors would like the new location to be at Disney still. The resort wide transportation makes it easy to get around if you come to visit without a car and don’t rent one. Disney’s BoardWalk is accessible by boat, skyliner, bus from the parks and walking distance from other resorts, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. That’s hard to beat in terms of convenience.

What is replacing Jellyrolls dueling piano bar at BoardWalk?

We’re not sure what will replace Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk. This resort has had nearly a full renovation over the last few years including the lobby, rooms and many places on the BoardWalk itself.

A lot has changed with The Cake Bake Shop replacing the ESPN restaurant, Big River Grille & Brewing Works closing and more. With Jellyrolls gone, that leaves a piece of prime real estate open for something new.

What else is there at Disney’s BoardWalk?

Staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas is a delight for many reasons. The theming is classic and elegant, it’s so close to Epcot and there are many restaurants to choose from at this property and within walking distance.

  • The BoardWalk Bakery became the BoardWalk Deli but still offers great breakfast options, treats and sandwiches.
  • The Cake Bake Shop is such a charming addition to the BoardWalk and changes its decor seasonally throughout the year.
  • Flying Fish is a classic signature restaurant highlighting sustainable seafood dishes.
  • Trattoria al Forno offers breakfast and a classic, Italian style cuisine.
  • Abracadabar is an exciting, themed bar and lounge celebrating magic.
  • BoardWalk Ice Cream offers fun flavors by the scoop.
  • Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs opened in 2024 with unique takes on this fair style food.
  • Atlantic Dance Hall is a nightclub style setting for dancing that’s usually open Thursday through Sunday nights.
  • There is often entertainment right on the BoardWalk like juggling acts.

Big River Grille and Brewing Works closed in 2024. That’s quite a bit of real estate on Disney’s BoardWalk that’s open for new offerings. We’ll keep you up to date with whatever it is.
