Resort Overview

Inspired by Europe, imagined by Disney.

With its castles and colorful fairy-tale villages, Europe has long inspired some of Walt Disney’s greatest stories and works. Now, that inspiration has shaped Disney’s Riviera Resort – a Disney Vacation Club Resort inspired by the grandeur of Europe, but reimagined a la Disney magic.

Here, palm-fringed boulevards, delicate florals, and sparkling swimming pools set the stage for dreamy idylls, while delightful details evoke the rich history, design, and artistry of Europe’s Mediterranean coast. At this enchanting new vacation destination in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort, you and your family can return to write your own vacation stories, year after year.

At this Resort, you’ll discover a unique art collection celebrating beloved Disney Characters and icons, European storytelling, and the fine art styling of master artists who found inspiration along the Riviera.

When you’re ready to be whisked away to the heart of the magic, hop aboard Disney Skyliner – a sky-sailing gondola system that will transport your family to the International Gatweay at Epcot, or connect you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The Mediterranean coastline became a popular summer retreat for artists, composers, academics, philosophers, and many famous visitors, including Walt and Lillian Disney. Disney’s Riviera Resort pays tribute to Walt and Lillian’s European travels, and connects Disney artistry and storytelling to the region’s renowned art heritage.

An inviting lobby locale, Le Petit Cafe, opens the day as a coffee cafe, and turns into a buzzing wine bar in time for sunset.

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is inspired by the cliffside restaurants of the Riviera. This exciting rooftop table-service eatery invokes all the senses, with stunning vistas and regional delights served straight from the expo kitchen. Indulge in an unforgettable family dinner, accompanied by sights of nearby nighttime spectaculars at Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Or, rise early and stop by for an all-you-care-to-enjoy Disney Character breakfast.
