Which is the Least Expensive DVC Resort?

The price of Disney Vacation Club may seem like a lot at first. When you compare it to the amount you’re already spending on Disney hotel stays, you may see why so many people join. In order to get the best possible rate on DVC you might be wondering which is the least expensive DVC resort. Each Disney Vacation Club resort is priced differently per point. It’s not a great strategy to pick the one with the lowest per point price for that reason only. The best way to choose your home resort is to pick the property you’d be happiest staying at while also considering the price if that’s important to you. Disney Vacation Club does have a flexible system that allows almost all Members to use their points to book at other resorts. Still, the home resort booking advantage ability to book eleven months out can make a big difference in trip planning. It’s very likely that the best way to get DVC points at a price you’ll be happy with is through buying resale DVC. Prices are almost always surprisingly better, often thousands less, on the resale market when compared to buying direct from Disney.

DVC Resort Pricing Comparisons

Below we’re comparing estimated prices for each resort. The direct price listed below for each resort is the last known price but note that Disney Vacation Club raises prices every year or so. Also, you may be eligible for discounts if Disney is running a special offer at the time.

The resale price listed below for each resort is an average based on DVC Resale Expert’s sales during late 2024 and early 2025. Expect these numbers to be a starting point but know they vary by contract. Contracts with more points typically go for a little less per point. Another example is that contracts that have lots of points available are more valuable.

While paying the lowest per point price may sound intriguing, you also want to consult with your real estate professional about trying to avoid the Right of First Refusal. During the resale DVC process, there is a point where Disney has the right to purchase the contract back. If the price is very low, it’s likely Disney may take more of an interest in the contract and purchase it back instead of letting you buy it. Your Expert will help you find a number that feels like a great value but also works against Disney’s recent ROFR price trends so you can have the best chance at a successful purchase.
