When you become a Member, you purchase a set number of Vacation Points in a Disney Vacation Club Resort. You’ll receive that number of Points each year, and you can even add on more in the future, if need be. Our Guides at DVC Resale Experts can help you figure about how many Points are right for you.
You can also use them to book magical Disney vacations or to explore global Collections – and the number of Vacation Points you use for each stay will depend on where you’ve acation, when and how long you stay, and which accommodations you choose. So you can use fewer Points for a shorter weekend trip, or more Points for a dreamier, longer, or larger group getaway.

No two Resorts are the same! For example, if you love the rustic outdoorsy atmosphere of the Pacific Northwest and returning to the magic of Disney Parks each year, then a Membership at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge would be the perfect choice!
Receive
You’ll receive your chosen number of Vacation Points each year of your Membership, on your Use Year. This marks the month each year when you receive a new allotment of Points and is determined by the resale contract you choose to purchase.
You can consider it your Membership anniversary!
If you’re already a DVC Member, you’ll likely want to purchase a resale contract with the same use year as your existing membership.
Plan A Vacation
Choose how you can use your Vacation Points to plan all types of vacations available to Members, year after year.

You and your family may want to stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort more than once a year, and other times you might want to save up your Vacation Points and use them for something bigger, like a family reunion or maybe two weeks in Hawai’i.
With the flexibility of Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points, you can save them up from a previous year to use next year, or borrow from the upcoming year’s Points allotment to use this year.

Make an offer on a contract you love. Your broker will guide you through negotiations.
Once the seller accepts your offer, the contract is sent to Disney for Right of First Refusal (ROFR).

After closing, the membership is transferred into your name, and you’re ready to book magical vacations!
